Mini Murals – Town of Victoria Park

Mini Mural installed on Utility box at Fraser Park in East Victoria Park

A splash of DOODLES IN TRANSIT colour hits Victoria Park!

I recently completed a commissioned artwork for The Town of Victoria Park as part of their ‘Mini Murals’ Series of works which selects artists to brighten the streets and parks of this vibrant part of town.

What really attracted me to this project was the projects mission to put art in unexpected places, it could be that you are walking a dog in a park or enjoying the food in the heart of this multicultural hotspot and be surrounded by art. All by virtue of the local councils smart approach to activating a space and enriching it with a creative soul. That is arts contribution with this project, turning the sterile into the creative.

Congratulations the Town of Victoria Park and my fellow artists that had a wonderful opportunity to brighten this corner of the world. You can personally check out my piece by visiting Fraser Park on Fraser park rd in East Victoria Park.
