‘Doodles in Transit’ started as a personal challenge for me. Like many train commuters, I found myself peering down into my smartphone scrolling endlessly through some fairly worthless content. During one commute I came to the realisation that 80 minutes of my life everyday was wasted, that’s the equivalent of boarding a train and staying on it 24hrs a day for two weeks every year. That might be a sobering thought (I imagine you’re calculating your annual commute time now) but for me it was an opportunity to do something I have a passion for, art. So when I can, I’m drawing or painting my next stab at politics, waste culture, general stupidity and life. I hope you enjoy my work and if you do, please spread the word and share your favourites.
